1991 Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding

“Govie” is one of the better known racehorses at the farm having won 19 of 55 races and almost $200,000. His ankle is almost the size of a grapefruit. When he arrived you could hear bone clicking on bone, since there was no cartilage left in it. Today the ankle is fused and Govie loves to run and play in his retirement.
